Date and time conditions are tested against the current time to see if the rule set should be applied. For example:
Show this content:
items in group newMemberFeatures
To these people:
people in group NewMembers
At these times:
every Mon, Wed, Fri between 9:00am and 9:00pm
between 01-Jan-2000, 12:00am and 01-Jan-2001,11:59pm
To set the rule’s date and time conditions:
Click the At These Times button below the Business Rules panel. The time-related option buttons appear as shown below:
Set the time conditions you want to use.
Click On to show or hide content on a specific date. For example, On Dec19, 2003.
Note: Click any “date” button such as one pictured above to select a new date from a pop-up calendar. Select All Day from the drop-down list to display the content all day. Select Between These Times from the drop-down list (illustrated in the next example) to set specific display times.
Click Between to show or hide content between specific dates. For example, between Dec 19, 2003, 12:00:00 AM and Dec 31, 2003, 11:59:00 PM, between 9:00am and 5.00pm.
Click Starting On to show or hide content starting on a specific date (without an end date). For example, after Dec 19, 2003, 12:00:00 AM.
Click Up Until to show or hide content beginning immediately up until a specific date. For example, before Dec 18, 2003, 11:59:00 PM.
Click These Week Days to show or hide content on certain days of the week. For example, the first Monday of every monthbetween 9:00am and 11:59pm.
Click These Month Days to show or hide content on certain days of each month. For example, on these days of the month: 1, 5. When you select this option, the Month Days dialog box appears.
If you want to select more than one day, hold down the Control key while making your selections. Click OK when you have finished.
