This section describes the default Action elements you can insert into a scenario segment (see Creating a Scenario: Basic Steps).

If your application developers have added any custom actions, these appear as additional options in the Action element in the Scenarios task area. For more information, see Adding Custom Events, Actions, and Conditions to Scenarios in the ATG Personalization Programming Guide. Additional options also appear if your product suite includes ATG Commerce. For more information on Commerce-related actions, refer to the ATG Commerce documentation.

Note: Several of the action elements described in the following sections include a with Dynamo path… option (for example, Send email with Dynamo path…). This option exists mostly for backwards compatibility and replicates the way users specified document paths in earlier versions of the product. If you choose this option, you must type the fully qualified path, including the ATG document root or the J2EE context root, to the page you want to use. The alternative option, with path… (for example, Send email with path…), does not require you to type the path but instead allows you to select the page from a list. The ATG Control Center then prepends the appropriate path information automatically.
