Reset BIOS Firmware to Default Settings (Oracle ILOM)

Before You Begin

Ensure that you have Admin (a) role privileges in Oracle ILOM.

1. To reset the BIOS firmware to default settings in the Oracle ILOM web interface:
   1. Log in to the Oracle ILOM web interface.

      For instructions, see Accessing Oracle ILOM.

   2. In the navigation pane, click System Management → BIOS.
   3. In the Reset to Defaults drop-down list, select Factory.
   4. Click Save.
2. To reset the BIOS firmware to default settings in the Oracle ILOM command-line interface (CLI):
   1. Log in to the Oracle ILOM CLI.

      For instructions, see Accessing Oracle ILOM.

   2. Type: set /System/BIOS reset_to_defaults=factory
