The information on the Price Lists tab in a SKU’s Details pane reflects the price lists that have been set up by your administrator. Depending on the access provided to you by your administrator, you can change the price type and, if applicable, specify a price for the SKU. If you do not have access to edit SKU prices, you will only be able to view the information.

Note: See Creating and Managing Price Lists to learn how to perform more extensive price list configuration in the Price Lists view.

The Price Lists editor displays each price list that applies to a SKU and lets you edit each list’s Price Type for the SKU.

  1. To change the price for a SKU, navigate to the Price Lists tab on a SKU’s Details pane.

The Price Lists tab displays prices and identifies if the SKUs and products are using inherited prices, volume pricing or time-based pricing. No price is displayed in the table when the price is either time-based or a volume price, or if there are multiple prices for a SKU. If the price is inherited, but not a time-based price, the price will be displayed in the table, but cannot be edited. This illustration is described in the preceding text.
  2. In the Price Lists editor, click the price list you want to edit.

  3. Select an option from the Price Type list:

    • Inherit: The SKU price is specified by the price list. This is the default value.

    • Price: Enter a price for the product. If the price is inherited, no price will be displayed. If you clear the price value from the price field, the price automatically becomes inherited. You can remove the price by clicking the Delete icon.

    • Volume: Substitutes the list’s price for this SKU with a volume pricing scheme that you specify by clicking the Set Volume Pricing… button in the SKU Price column. See Creating and Managing Price Lists to learn about volume pricing. You can remove volume pricing by clicking the Delete icon.

    • Date Range: Select a date range for the SKU price. Note that while the date range does not need both a start and end date, if the end date occurs before the start date, an error will occur. You can remove the date range by clicking the Delete icon.

This illustration is described in the preceding text.
  4. (Optional) A SKU can be a child of more than one product. To set a different price for the same SKU under different products, repeat step 3 for each Price Type / Price in product name column pair that appears in the Price Lists editor.

  5. Click the OK button to save your changes, or Cancel to revert to the previous prices.

  6. Once you are finished modifying the prices, click Save at the bottom of the Details pane to save your changes.
