When setting up an environment that uses an MDEX server, Commerce Service Center relies on the Oracle Commerce Reference Store deployment template. This template, which is created after using CIM to create the MDEX server, configures the LiveAppServerCluster.xml file for production servers only. As such, you must manually edit the LiveAppServerCluster.xml file to include your agent servers to be in the cluster.
To add a new app server to the cluster:
Edit the
LiveAppServerCluster.xmlfile with the following:<app-server-cluster id="LiveAppServerCluster">
<app-server ref="LiveCRS" />
<app-server ref="LiveAgent" />
</app-server-cluster>Then define the app server:
<app-server id="LiveAgent" hostName="localhost" port="8280">
<web-app ref="AgentWebApp1" />
</app-server>Set up the web-app and context path by adding the following:
<web-app id="AgentWebApp1" contextPath="/dyn/admin/assemblerAdmin"/>
Note that this configuration must only be done once during initial setup.
