Gift and wish lists are Oracle Commerce Core Commerce features that allow customers who visit your site to add items to a list that can be accessed by other customers, or saved and referenced for future purchases. Oracle Commerce Service Center extends this functionality by enabling an agent to assist a registered customer with the creation and management of their lists. Agents can also assist a customer who wants to search and purchase items from another customer’s list. However, agents cannot create gift or wish lists for anonymous shoppers, nor can they delete an item from a gift list, or delete a gift registry.

Note: If you have configured your environment with multiple sites, and have set up site access control, the amount of information that an agent will be able to see will be limited based on their site access. Refer to the Controlling Site Access section for additional information.
