Reboot the Modular System Components (CLI)

1. Log in to the Oracle ILOM CLI.

   For instructions, refer to Accessing Oracle ILOM in Oracle X5 Series Servers Administration Guide.

2. Type one of the following commands:

   • To reboot the modular system, type reset /System.

     The modular system reboots. If all of the compute node LEDs do not flash and turn solid green, see Installation Troubleshooting.

   • To start the modular system, type start /System.

     For more information, refer to Controlling Host Power to Server or Blade System Chassis in Oracle ILOM Administrator’s Guide for Configuration and Maintenance Firmware Release 3.2.x.

     The modular system boots. If all of the compute node LEDs do not flash and turn solid green, see Installation Troubleshooting.

   ---

   Tip  -  At this point, you can also gracefully shut down the modular system by typing stop /System. You can also immediately shut down the modular system by typing stop -f /System.

3. Confirm your choice by typing by y and pressing Enter.
