The following program description deals with:
By use of this program, the status of all of the processing units can be displayed on the screen. This information provides the user with details on the current state of each terminal and to check for offline conditions. Warning messages can be issued indicating an offline condition for a terminal for statistic reports, which are called up at the administration terminal. Further details on offline messages can be found in the documentation Offline messages for POS.
Note:
Generation of the offline status messages is dealt with by a permanent
background process, i.e. the alert manager. A Process
unit of type "OscarClient" must be set up for this application
program. The name of the application program "AlertManager" should be
entered in field Program name.
The following description deals with all available options for update of this basic data.
As with nearly all programs, the following also applies here:

Enter the number of the company to which the processing unit is assigned. If you do not know the number, you can select the data record via the Search Function.

Enter the number of the branch to which the processing unit is assigned. If you do not know the number, you can select the data record via the Search Function.

Select the number of the terminal to be assigned. If you do not know the number, you can select the data record via the Search Function.

In this field, the value of grand total of the terminal is shown. This value ignores the nature of the postings, i.e. the absolute values of the postings are added up.
Permitted input range: decimal, max. 22 digits including max. 2 decimal places
In this field, the audit total is shown. This value ignores the prefixes of the postings.
Permitted input range: numeric, 1 - 999999
In this field, the next voucher number to be assigned for the terminal is shown.
Permitted input range: numeric, 1 - 99999999
In this field, the last signed on operator of the terminal is shown.
Permitted input range: numeric, 1 - 99999999
In this field, the next transaction number to be assigned for the terminal is shown. The increment of the transaction number depends on the operation mode of the terminal. It can be incremented by guest checks or by receipt transactions.

Field with firmly defined selection options
In this field the state of the event "EFTCASHBALANCE" will be displayed.
Note:
In program Application -> Organisation ->
Terminals the event "EFTCASHBALANCE" can be send via the button
"Start EFT Report", to print an EFT report on the cash printer of a selected
terminal.
This event can also be sent via the report "EFT report on all terminals" from the program Application -> Organisation -> Terminals, or within a report chain with the report "LstStartEftReport".

Button activated: The
processing unit is blocked.
Button inactivated: The processing unit is not blocked.
A processing unit is blocked in program Application -> Organisation -> Terminal with button "Block terminal" or "Unlock terminal". Button Blocked is then automatically activated or deactivated.
Button activated: This
terminal is not active.
Button inactivated: This terminal is active
This option can be switched on and off with report "Activate/deactivate processes" in program Application -> Organisation -> Terminal. If configured terminals are not used in the system for a specific period of time or if they have been taken out of operation for maintenance work, the terminal should be deactivated with this report to ensure that the message "Terminals offline" is suppressed for statistics reports at the administration terminal.
