When an application has multiple configuration directories, a component can get its properties from multiple sources. You can use the ATG Control Center Component Editor and the Dynamo Administration Component Browser to determine how a given component is configured.
ATG Control Center Component Editor
The Configuration tab in the Configuration Editor lists in ascending order of precedence the configuration layers and properties files that configure a given component. To view the contents of a properties file, double-click on its name.
Component Browser
The Component Browser in Dynamo Administration lets you view properties files that configure a component:
Navigate to the target component.
Click View Service Configuration to view a hierarchical listing of the properties files for that component.
