In order to set up an ATG Content Administration server, you must first install a new ATG instance. On the ATG Content Administration server, you must install ATG Content Administration 2007.3 and version 2007.3 of other ATG modules.
You should determine the configuration of the ATG Content Administration server in the early stages of application development: after you import the application’s content into the versioned repositories of ATG Content Administration, you cannot reexport the content and import it into another system. Therefore, you should configure the ATG Content Administration server with the database instance to be used when development is complete. The ATG Content Administration server requires its own database instance because, unlike the development server database, it uses a versioned schema.
