The project workflow used to manage the project’s task and assets contributes to defining the deployment model for your environment. Specifically, the workflow can be set up to deploy assets before or after they are checked in. Deploying a workspace before check-in allows assets to be approved on a target site and locked from other users pending approval. Deployment elements also define the target sites where a project deploys its assets.
