You can deploy assets created in an ATG Content Administration 2007.3 environment to deployment agents on target servers that run versions 7.1 or 2006.3.
Note: Make sure the target servers have the latest patches installed for versions 7.1 and 2006.3.
The distribution for ATG Content Administration 2007.3 provides a Publishing Agent Kit that contains the appropriate agents for target servers, in ATG2007.3\PublishingAgent\PublishingAgentKit.jar.
Unjar PublishingAgentKit.jar to the appropriate set of root directories:
ATG7.1andATGWeb7.1ATG2006.3andATGWeb2006.3
To start the Publishing agent on the target server:
startDynamo -m PublishingAgent20071 your-production-modules
For ATG Commerce users:
startDynamo -m PublishingAgent20071.DCS your-production-modules
To start the Publishing Web agent on the target Web server:
startNucleus -m PublishingWebAgent20071
