You can use the Admin Console in the ATG Business Control Center to monitor deployments and troubleshoot errors, in particular communication errors between the ATG Content Administration server and target sites. However, errors sometimes occur during deployment because of a lack of data integrity in versioned databases, particularly in the areas of versioning metadata and references between assets. To verify versioned data integrity, ATG Content Administration provides the global Nucleus component /atg/epub/validation/PublishingDataValidator, a diagnostic tool that you can run through the Dynamo Administration UI.
Note: Running PublishingDataValidator can take some time on a database containing a large number of assets. Therefore, use this tool only when deployment errors occur.
