Name

SLPFree - frees memory

Synopsis

cc [ flag... ] file... –lslp [ library... ]

SLPError SLPFree(void *pvMem);

Description

The SLPFree() function frees memory returned from SLPParseSrvURL(), SLPFindScopes(), SLPEscape(), and SLPUnescape().

Parameters

pvMem

A pointer to the storage allocated by the SLPParseSrvURL(), SLPFindScopes(), SLPEscape(), and SLPUnescape() functions. pvMem is ignored if its value is NULL.

Errors

This function or its callback may return any SLP error code. See the ERRORS section in slp_api(3SLP).

Example 1 Using SLPFree()

The following example illustrates how to call SLPFree(). It assumes that SrvURL contains previously allocated memory.

err = SLPFree((void*) SrvURL);

When set, use this file for configuration.
