Once you have created or imported solution data, you must check in and deploy them. Ensure that you are connected to your management server before you check in solutions.
After saving the solution, use the Task Action drop down menu to indicate that the task is ready for approval. Click Go.
The project window appears.
The Author task has been completed, and the solution now awaits Production Approval. Using the Select Action drop down menu, select one of the actions:
Approve and Deploy for Production will check the solution in and deploy the solution for production
Approve for Production Deployment will check in the solution, but the solution will not be deployed. Deployment can occur later.
Reject for Deployment will not check in the solution, nor will the solution be deployed.
