ATG Campaign Optimizer is an application that runs on top of the ATG platform.
ATG Campaign Optimizer requires the ATG Adaptive Scenario Engine and ATG Campaign Optimizer for Commerce requires ATG Commerce. The ATG Campaign Optimizer user interface requires Microsoft Internet Explorer version 6.
Note: The Internet Explorer home page should be set to a URL rather than a file location and cookies should be enabled.
While it is possible to use all ATG products in a production environment, you cannot develop ATG Campaign Optimizer tests while you are working with versioned assets of any kind. If you want to use ATG Campaign Optimizer and ATG Content Administration in the same server instance, you need to keep them in separate applications while they are in development mode: do not build an application that includes the ATG Campaign Optimizer management and ATG Content Administration Publishing.base modules. Once you are ready to deploy your changes to a production server, build an application that includes modules for both products (ATG Campaign Optimizer runtime and ATG Content Administration PublishingAgent, PublishingWebAgent, etc.). You will not be able to use the ATG Campaign Optimizer UI and Business Control Center concurrently.
