Tests can start in two ways: you can start the test at the time of deployment or set a start date and time.
To determine if a test is running, click on the View Tests button to see a list of all tests. The status column indicates whether a test is running, not started, or completed.
Follow these steps to start the test at the time of deployment.
Select the test from the View Tests window to open it.
Click on the Deploy button. A message displays asking if you want to deploy the test enabled or disabled.
Select Enabled and click on Continue. The test starts upon deployment.
Note: If deployment is not configured on your system, a message will display saying you must notify your system administrator that the test is ready to be deployed.
Follow these steps to start a test at a set date and time.
Select the test from the View Tests window to open it.
Click on Edit.
Click on the Date option in the Start section of the Basic Info tab.
Click on Enabled in the Basic Info tab.
Note: Do not enable a test until all criteria are set correctly and it is in final form to run. If you deploy a test with a start date in the past, it will not start.
Enter a date and time to start the test.
Click on View Summary.
Click on Deploy. The test will start on the specific date and time.
Note: If the deployment feature is not configured on your system, a message will display saying you must notify your system administrator that the test is ready to be deployed.
