You can stop a test in two ways: you can manually stop the test or set an end date and time. A third way is available to you if you need to end a test immediately: use the ACC to access the production scenario editor server and stop the test scenario manually.
Follow these steps to end the test at the time of deployment.
Select the test from the View Tests window to open it.
Click on the Deploy button. A message displays asking if you want to deploy the test enabled or disabled.
Select Disabled and click on Continue. The test ends upon deployment.
Note: If the deployment feature is not configured on your system, a message will display saying you must notify your system administrator that the test is ready to be deployed.
Follow these steps to end a test at a set date and time. You can do this before running the test or while the test is running.
Select the test from the View Tests window to open it.
Click on Edit.
Note: If the test is running, a message displays warning you that the test is running and that you will only be able to edit the End Criteria or disable the test.
Click on the Date option in the End section of the Basic Info tab.
Enter a date and time to end the test.
Click on View Summary.
Click on Deploy. After being redeployed, the test will end on the specific date and time.
Note: If the deployment feature is not configured on your system, a message will display saying you must notify your system administrator that the test is ready to be deployed.
