This section includes information on installing ATG Campaign Optimizer.
To use ATG Campaign Optimizer 2007.3 you must have the following software installed on your network:
One of the following application servers: JBoss Application Server, BEA WebLogic Server, or IBM WebSphere Application Server. For installation and configuration instructions, see the ATG Installation and Configuration Guide.
The ATG product that’s appropriate for your ATG Campaign Optimizer product:
ATG Campaign Optimizer: Adaptive Scenario Engine
ATG Campaign Optimizer for Commerce: Consumer Commerce Package or ATG Business & Consumer Commerce Package
Follow these steps to install ATG Campaign Optimizer.
Download one of the following distribution files from the Oracle website:
Windows:
ATG-CampaignOptimizer-Commerce2007.3.exeUNIX:
ATG-CampaignOptimizer-Commerce2007.3.jar
Run the setup program. It will guide you through the process for installing ATG Campaign Optimizer or ATG Campaign Optimizer for Commerce. When you install ATG Campaign Optimizer for Commerce, you need to install both ATG Campaign Optimizer and ATG Campaign Optimizer for Commerce.
Note: ATG Campaign Optimizer also installs the Common Application Framework (CAF) in the <ATG2007.3dir>/CAF2007.3 directory. CAF is a shared framework used by several ATG applications. If you choose to uninstall ATG Campaign Optimizer, CAF is not uninstalled.
