The Deploy button allows ATG Campaign Optimizer users to deploy a test to a production site to run. The test must be controlled by a workflow for the Deploy option to work. When there is no workflow associated with a test, a message displays in the confirm deployment page that says the user must contact a site administrator to deploy the test.

To turn this message off, set the hasWorkflow property in atg/abtest/web/Configuration component to true. The property is set to false by default, which means there is no workflow present and the user will see the message.

If there is no ATG Content Administration system available, the scenario file generated for each test should be moved to production manually. The files are located in the directory set in the scenarioRoot property of the TestManager component. For more information, see Configuring the Test Manager.
