Copying test elements is an easy way to configure several test groups that test the same element with different substitution choices. You can copy a test element into different test groups and then edit the substitution selection. Follow these steps to copy test elements between test groups.
Create a new test or edit an existing test. See Creating a New Test or Editing Tests for more information.
Open the Test Groups tab.
Click the Copy Elements From… button at the bottom of the test group into which you want to copy elements. The Copy Test Elements box opens.
Select the name of the test group that contains the test elements you want to copy and click OK.
All the test elements from the selected group are copied into the current group.
Note: If you do not want to use all the test elements, you can delete unwanted elements by clicking the X icon next to the test element name.
