Right-clicking a category, product, SKU, promotion, article, media content asset, or store text in layout view displays a pop-up menu with the following options:
Edit displays the Details pane for the selected asset, where you can edit it as you normally would in Merchandising. See Editing Assets for more information.
If your access rights allow you to view but not edit the selected asset, the menu displays View instead of Edit. View displays the Details pane for the selected asset in read-only mode.
Light Table launches the light table, where you can organize a category’s products. See Organizing Collections with the Light Table.
Add to Project adds the selected asset to the current project. See Adding Assets to a Project for more information.
Add to Asset Tray adds the selected asset to the asset tray. See Using the Asset Tray for more information.
Right-clicking anything else in layout view displays your browser’s right-click menu, which is not controlled by Merchandising. For example, in the following illustration, the browser menu appears when you right-click the CRS Home logo in layout view.
When you right-click a category, product, SKU, promotion, article, media content asset, or store text, Merchandising displays the name and type of the selected asset in the lower-left corner of the screen. This prompt helps you confirm the selected asset is the one you expect. For example, in the following illustration, the prompt shows that the product Tumbler Glass is selected in layout view.
