In the Browse panel, select the product you want to associate with a new SKU. See Using the Navigation Pane for details.

Note: You can also create a SKU from the Find panel when SKUs is selected in the For dropdown menu. This creates the SKU in the Uncategorized Items or Unsited Items list.

Click the Create button in the toolbar and select SKU or Configurable SKU. Depending on how your Merchandising installation is configured, additional types of SKUs might be available.

Fill in the property fields in the Details pane. The Name field is the only required field.

Click the Create button at the bottom of the Details pane.
