You can work with the following properties in the Details pane. The properties described in this section are the properties that come with Merchandising by default. Your administrator might have added new properties that are specific to your Web sites.
Note: Merchandising does not validate any of the information you enter for a store. For example, it does not check that the postal code matches the rest of the address.
General Tab
Property | Description |

Name | The name for the store location. This property is required. The name does not have to be unique, as Merchandising assigns a unique ID to each asset you create. |
Merchant Store ID | The ID number that banks and credit card institutions use to identify the store when processing credit card payments. |
Start date | Date on which the asset is available. For more information, see Working with Calendar Editors. |
End date | Date the asset is no longer available. For more information, see Working with Calendar Editors. |
Sites | In a multisite environment, the names of the sites to which the store belongs. See Assets in a Multisite Environment. |
Site Groups | In a multisite environment, the names of the site groups to which the store belongs. See Assets in a Multisite Environment. |
Latitude | The latitude coordinate of the store’s location. For example, 33.51. |
Longitude | The longitude coordinate of the store’s location. For example, -112.03. |
Address 1 | The first line of the store’s address. For example, 2404 East Camelback Road. |
Address 2 | The second line of the store’s address. For example, Fashion Park. |
Address 3 | The third line of the store’s address. For example, #100E. |
City | The city where the store is located. For example, Phoenix. |
County | The country where the store is located. For example, Maricopa. |
State | The state where the store is located. For example, AZ. |
Postal Code | The postal code for the store’s location. For example, 85016. |
Country | The country where the store is located. For example, USA. |
Hours | The store’s opening hours. For example, Weekdays 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM. |
Phone Number | The store’s phone number. For example, 949-721-2000. |
Fax Number | The store’s fax number. For example, 949-721-2000. |
The store’s email address. For example, service@example.com. |
