The Add Stage Reached action adds a business process stage to an item. You need to have defined the business process and its stages, as described in the Defining and Tracking Business Processes chapter in the Personalization Programming Guide. Example:

Add stage reached with process name = ShoppingProcess and
stage = ShippingInfoComplete

Note that you can instead use the AddBusinessProcessStage servlet bean to do the same thing in a page.
