Important: You can create workflows only for the custom workflow types that the application developers have set up for your site. Some default workflow types are provided with ATG Content Administration. For more information on creating custom workflow types, refer to the Personalization Programming Guide.
Follow these steps to create a workflow:
Display the Workflow window as described above, selecting the type of workflow you want to create.
Click on the New Workflow Definition button. The New Workflow Definition window appears.
Select the folder where you want to store this workflow.
Type a name for the new workflow in the Workflow Definition Name field. It is recommended that workflow names be unique across your Oracle Commerce Platform environment to avoid ATG Control Center errors.
Click OK. The new workflow opens in the Workflow Editor. For information on defining it, see the next section, Using Workflow Elements.
