By default, the ATG Control Center organizes and displays scenarios according to the folder in which they are located. You can change this setting, however, and display scenarios according to criteria such as a scenario’s contents or creation date. This feature can be extremely useful if you have large numbers of scenarios to track and maintain. For example, suppose the page developers working on your site renamed one of its pages from Welcome.jsp
to 2002_Welcome.jsp
. You would have to find and update every scenario that uses this page so that your campaigns would work as planned. Using this feature, you could choose to display scenarios according to the site pages they reference, and then look for any that include Welcome.jsp
.
To change the way in which the ATG Control Center displays scenarios, use the By Folders dropdown list in the top left corner of the main scenario window.
Use the options in this list as follows:
Option | Organizes scenarios according to… |
---|---|
By Profile Groups | The profile groups that are referenced by the People elements within each scenario. |
By Profile Properties | The profile properties that are referenced by any elements within each scenario. |
By Slots | The slots that are referenced by the Add Items to Slot, Remove Items from Slot, or Items Requested by Slot elements within each scenario. |
By Actions | The actions that the scenarios contain. |
By Events | The events that the scenarios contain. |
By Dates | Any absolute dates or ranges of absolute dates that the scenarios contain. For example, dates referred to by an On or Between time element would qualify, but a date included as a property of an event (People whose Date of Birth is January 1) would not. |
By Authors | The ATG Control Center users who created the scenarios. |
By Creation Dates | The dates on which the scenarios were created in the ATG Control Center. |
By Last Modified | The dates on which the scenarios were last edited in the ATG Control Center. |
By E-Mail Templates | The e-mail templates (JHTML or JSP files) referenced by any Send E-Mail or Send Notification elements within each scenario. |
By Pages | The Web site pages referenced by any Visits or Redirect To elements within each scenario. |
Note that this feature works for entire scenarios rather than for individual segments within a scenario.
