Restoring a backup of the application state

You can restore backups of the application state directories, and webstudiostore, to an installation of the same version or later.

To restore backups of the application state directories:

  1. Stop the Endeca Tools Service.

  2. Delete the webstudiostore directory from %ENDECA_TOOLS_CONF%\state\ (on Windows) or $ENDECA_TOOLS_CONF/state/ (on UNIX).

  3. Start the Endeca Tools Service.
