Description

Generic Security Services API Library Functions gss_context_time(3gss)

NAME
       gss_context_time - determine how long a context will remain valid

SYNOPSIS
       cc [ flag... ] file... -lgss  [ library... ]
       #include <gssapi/gssapi.h>

       OM_uint32 gss_context_time(OM_uint32 *minor_status,
            gss_ctx_id_t *context_handle,OM_uint32 *time_rec);

DESCRIPTION
       The gss_context_time() function determines the number of seconds for
       which the specified context will remain valid.

PARAMETERS
       The parameter descriptions for gss_context_time() are as follows:

       minor_status      A mechanism-specific status code.

       context_handle A read-only value. Identifies the context to be
                         interrogated.

       time_rec Modifies the number of seconds that the context
                         remains valid. If the context has already expired,
                         returns zero.

ERRORS
       The gss_context_time() function returns one of the following status
       codes:

       GSS_S_COMPLETE           Successful completion.

       GSS_S_CONTEXT_EXPIRED The context has already expired.

       GSS_S_NO_CONTEXT The context_handle parameter did not identify
                                a valid context.

       GSS_S_FAILURE The underlying mechanism detected an error for
                                which no specific GSS status code is defined.
                                The mechanism-specific status code reported by
                                means of the minor_status parameter details
                                the error condition.
