To configure an existing Apache HTTP server:
Under the
DocumentRoothierarchy that is defined in the HTTP server configuration file (/etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf), create the directory where you will copy the full Oracle Linux Release 6 Media Pack DVD image, for example/var/www/html/OSimage/OL6:#
mkdir -p /var/www/html/OSimage/OL6Edit the HTTP server configuration file,
/etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf, and add a<Directory>section, for example:<Directory "/var/www/html/OSimage/OL6"> Options Indexes FollowSymLinks AllowOverride None Order allow,deny Allow from all </Directory>Place this section after the closing
</Directory>statement for the<Directorysection.DocumentRoot>NoteThe
Indexesoption is not required for installation. Specify this option if you want to be able to browse the directory hierarchy.
