The following freezer parameter is defined:
freezer.state
Specifies one of the following operations.
Setting | Description |
|---|---|
| Suspends all the tasks in a cgroup. You cannot move a process into a frozen cgroup. |
| Resumes all the tasks in a cgroup. |
You cannot set the FREEZING state. If
displayed, this state indicates that the system is currently
suspending the tasks in the cgroup.
The freezer.state parameter is not
available in the root cgroup.
