Removing and Installing the Management Module

This section documents how to remove and install the Management module. You must power down the Fabric Interconnect to perform this procedure. To perform this procedure, you will need a #2 Phillips (cross-head) screwdriver.

Caution - When tightening screws, make sure to tighten them to lightly snug. Do not overtighten screws or they can break.

Caution - When replacing the Management Modules: - wear an ESD wrist strap - When the hardware is out of its shipping package or the Fabric Interconnect chassis, make sure you place it in an ESD safe bag or on a grounded work surface such as a rubberized work mat.
