Power Off a CMC

A CMC cannot be powered off. Instead, deactivate the CMC if it is the active CMC.

1. Identify the prerequisite and subsequent tasks you must perform in conjunction with this procedure, to achieve a goal.

   See the table in Servicing the CMCs.

2. If the active CMC is to be removed, use the clia switchover command to transfer administration duties to the other CMC.

   For example:

   # clia switchover

3. Remove the CMC.
