Each customer in ATG Commerce Service Center has a series of customer logs that store information about the customer’s activities on your site. For example, each time a customer submits an order, ATG Commerce Service Center automatically records the activity in the customer’s Order History log. At any time, you can research a customer’s activities using these logs and then use the information to assist customers with requests and questions.

Accessing a Customer’s Order History

The Order History includes a complete list of all of the customer’s orders. Using the Order History you can quickly locate an order for a customer.

To access a customer’s Order History:

  1. Activate the customer as outlined in Searching For Existing Customers.

  2. Click the customer’s name in the global context area. This brings up the customer’s profile page.

  3. Scroll to the Order History section of the customer’s profile page.

  4. You can click on an order number to view the order’s details.

Accessing a Customer’s Coupons & Promotions

A customer’s Coupons & Promotions list provides a list of the coupons, promotions, and store credits available to and used by a customer. Using this list, you can make the customer aware of discounts and credits available to him or her.

Note: When you create a new order for a customer, ATG Commerce Service Center automatically applies any available promotional discounts to the order. However, you must manually add a coupon code to a customer’s order in order to receive the coupon discount.

To access a customer’s Coupons & Promotions list:

  1. Activate the customer as outlined in Searching For Existing Customers.

  2. Click the customer’s name in the global context area. This brings up the customer’s profile page.

  3. Scroll to the Promotions section of the page.

    The system displays the Coupons & Promotions, which lists the coupons, promotions that have been used by the customer and those that are currently available to the customer.

  4. Scroll to the Credits section of the page to display store credits that have been used or are currently available to the customer.

Accessing a Customer’s Comments

At any time, you can access a list of comments that have been associated to a customer.

An agent can also attach comments to individual orders. However, these comments are stored in the order; they are not stored in the customer’s Comments log. For information on how to access the comments in an order, see Searching For and Displaying Orders.

To access a customer’s notes:

  1. Activate the customer as outlined in Searching For Existing Customers.

  2. Click the customer’s name in the global context area. This brings up the customer’s profile page.

  3. Scroll to the Notes section of the page.
