When you work on a ticket, you take ownership of the ticket.
Search for a ticket.
Select the ticket using the Work on a Ticket link from the Ticket Search panel.
Ensure that the ticket is the Current Ticket, displayed in the Global Context Area as the Current Ticket.
When you work with the current ticket, you can perform the following tasks:
Reassign the current ticket to someone else by entering another user
Defer the current ticket until a later date by entering a date
Release the current ticket so that someone else can work on the ticket
