Launching an Email campaign with the Campaign Designer

Important: Campaign Designer is now generally available. It replaces the Campaign Workbook for all channels except MMS. This change does not affect Classic Campaigns.

Campaign Designer has a simplified workflow and easy to follow interface. Use the Campaign Designers as part of your customer engagement strategy by reaching customers through personalized communication.

With the Campaign Designer, create and launch a campaign in four steps:

  1. Create your campaign and define its targeting
  2. Create personalized messaging
  3. Test your campaign
  4. Launch your campaign

To navigate to the Campaign Designer :

  1. On the side navigation bar, click The Campaign icon Campaigns and select Manage Campaigns.

    The Manage campaigns page opens.

  2. Click Create Campaign, or open an existing campaign.

Step 1: Create a targeted campaign

  1. Create your email campaign
  2. Configure the About your campaign panel
  3. Configure the Targeting panel to ensure your campaign is targeted
  4. Configure the Additional settings panel

Step 2: Create personalized messaging

  1. Draft your message
  2. Set up your link table
  3. Create personalized and dynamic messaging with dynamic content and widgets

Step 3: Test your campaign

  1. Multivariate testing
  2. Errors and validation
  3. Preview
  4. Test links
  5. Deliverability
  6. Proof launch

Step 4: Launch your campaign

  1. Request approval (if it's enabled for your account)
  2. Launch
  3. Gain insight into your campaign
