Configurable Fields for the Pricing and Commitments Screen

A huge number of columns are present in the Pricing and Commitments section of the Pricing and Commitments screen, and as a result, the user had to scroll from left to right to view the data in this section. To handle this horizontal scrolling issue, we have given a provision to list a set of columns which are configurable in the Pricing and Commitments section. A new section named Pricing and Commitments - Configurable Columns is available while defining or editing a deal type. It enables you to indicate the following:

  • Sequence in which the column should appear in the Pricing and Commitments section

  • Selection type of the column in the Pricing and Commitments section

You can configure the following columns of the Pricing and Commitments section in a deal type:

  • Assignment Level

  • Average Price

  • Cost

  • Price List

  • Pricing Information

  • Profit

  • Profit Variation(%)

  • Profitability(%)

  • Revenue

  • Revenue Variation(%)

  • Volume

If the selection type flag of a column is set to Mandatory, the system, by default, renders the column in the Pricing and Commitments section and it cannot be removed from the Pricing and Commitments section. If the selection type flag of a column is set to Standard, the system, by default, renders the column in the Pricing and Commitments section and it can be removed from the Pricing and Commitments section (if not needed). However, if the selection type flag of a column is set to Optional, the system, by default, does not render the column in the Pricing and Commitments section and it can be added anytime to the Pricing and Commitments section (if needed).

On loading the Pricing and Commitments screen, the system refers the column configuration in the respective deal type and accordingly displays the columns in the Pricing and Commitments section. You can add or remove the columns from the Pricing and Commitments section where the selection type flag is set to either Standard or Optional.
