Output Definitions

An output definition stores the characteristics of policy related output like a summary plan description or an id card for a insured on a policy.

Field	Description
Code	The identifying code of the output definition
Display Name	The display name of the output definition
Level	The level of the output: Policy or Enrollment
Generation Period	The length of the generation period
Generation Period Unit of Measure	The unit of measure for the generation period: Day, Month or Year
Condition	The dynamic logic condition that is executed to determine if output should be generated for the policy or enrollment
Header Function	The dynamic logic function that generates the header of the file
Repeat Element Function	The dynamic logic function that generates the repeat elements of the file
Footer Function	The dynamic logic function that generates the footer of the file

Constraints:

• Generation period and generation period unit of measure should both be filled or both be left empty
