Chassis Status LEDs

Status LEDs for the entire system are located on the front panel of the virtualization switch above the power supplies.

State and Meaning
image:Figure shows the Locate LED
Locate
White
Indicates these conditions:

  • On – No function.

  • Fast blinking – Switch is identifying itself.

  • Off – Disabled.

This indicator is an LED only, not a combination LED and button.

Attention
Amber
Indicates these conditions:

  • On – Fault detected.

  • Off – No faults detected.

OK
Green
Indicates these conditions:

  • On – Switch is functional without fault.

  • Off – Switch is off or initializing.

Service Processor (SP)
Green
Indicates these conditions:

  • On – SP is ready.

  • Slow blinking – SP is booting up.

  • Off – SP is powered off, resetting, or at fault.
