Moving an asset changes the structure of your catalog by changing the parent of the asset you move. For example, you can move a product from the Uncategorized Items list to a category in the catalog.
You can move more than one asset at a time, but you must move them all to the same destination. Any child assets are also moved.
To move assets:
In the Browse panel, select the assets you want to move. (You cannot move assets in the Find panel.) See Using the Navigation Pane for details. Remember that any child assets are also automatically selected.
You can also select media assets, promotions, promotion folders, coupons, and coupons folders in the Find panel.
Click the Actions button in the toolbar and select Move.
In the dialog box that appears, select a new parent asset. See Using the Navigation Pane for details.
Click OK.
