If your environment includes ATG Business Commerce, you can define organizations and assign users to them. Properties you define for an organization are automatically inherited by all users in the organization. One property identifies a contract, which is an asset that associates a catalog, price list, and payment terms. To assign a price list to an organization, associate it with a contract and then associate the contract with an organization
To associate a price list with an organization, follow these steps:
On the Business Control Center home page, expand the Personalization entry in the Operations list. Click External Users.
From the Show dropdown menu, select Organizations.
In the browse pane, click the name of the organization to which you want to assign the contract and price list.
In the editing pane, select the General tab, and find the Contract property in the Basics property grouping:
Click Contract and choose Override or Inherit:
Inherit: the organization inherits the contract from the parent organization. The interface reverts to the Contract arrow.
Override: displays another choice: Select or Create.
Choose Select to use the asset selector to find an existing contract. Select the contract and click OK:
Choose Create to create a new contract:
Click Save in the popup confirmation dialog.
Enter the name of the contract.
Click Select next to Pricelist. Use the asset selector to find an existing price list. Select the price list and click OK.
Click Create and Close.
The editing pane returns to the Organization’s General tab, which shows the contract assignment:
Click Close.
