PCIe Root Complex Connections (Single-Processor Configurations)

In single-processor configurations, the server configures the PCIe root complex paths to this topology.

This diagram illustrates the root complex connections between the two CPUs in PM0 and 14 PCIe I/O slots.


Note - I/O slots 15 and 16 cannot be used in single-processor configurations.

CPUs 0 and 1 support four root complex fabrics, which connect to the 12 usable I/O slots through switches 0 through 3.
