The Checkout plugin includes the checkout-detail and checkout-services JavaScript modules. The checkout-detail JavaScript module is a domain model that stores the checkout details for access by the other JavaScript modules. The Checkout UI components use the checkout-services JavaScript module to invoke REST services and communicate with the server through XHR requests. Both JavaScript modules are found in CommerceAccelerator/Plugins/Checkout/src/main/web-app.
