The CommerceAccelerator.Plugins.Promotions plugin module provides a bridge between the promotions created in the Business Control Center and an application based on the Commerce Store Accelerator framework. If an application module includes the Promotions plugin, any promotions created in the Business Control Center become available to the application. This includes both implicit promotions, which are promotions that are automatically applied to a shopper’s cart when the cart satisfies a set of rules, or explicit promotions that are applied after a customer enters a coupon code.
