Follow the instructions below to populate the HTML page cache in the SEORepository. How often you refresh the data in the SEO page cache depends on your application’s requirements. However, you should be aware that any time you do a baseline index and Experience Manager content promotion, the SEO page cache will no longer be in synch with the live site until after you refresh the cache.

To populate the SEO page cache:

  1. In a browser, navigate to DynamoAdministration for the production server, for example, http://localhost:8080/dyn/admin. Enter your user name and password.

  2. Search for the /atg/repository/seo/SitemapPageCacheRenderer component using the Search All (Slow) option (because the component is not running all the time, navigating to it will not return results).

  3. Click the generatePageCache link in the Methods section.

  4. Click the Invoke Method button.

Note: The generatePageCache method can take time to execute. To terminate the method, you must stop the server.
