During EAC application creation, you must provide the paths for the application configuration export archive and the authoring application configuration export archive. The paths you enter must match the path you entered for the default EAC application’s configuration archive path, up to but not including the EAC application name, during the Oracle Commerce server instance configuration in CIM. For example, if during server instance configuration in CIM, you entered:

/usr/local/endeca/Apps/application_export_archive/NewStoreStagingen

As the application configuration archive path for the default EAC application, then during EAC application creation, you should enter:

/usr/local/endeca/Apps/application_export_archive

For the application configuration archive path and the authoring application configuration archive path.

IMPORTANT: Use forward slashes when entering these paths, even if on Windows.
