次の手順では、USB デバイス上で既存のパーティションを削除し、新しいパーティションを作成してから PCFS ファイルシステムを作成する方法を説明します。このタスクを実行する前にデータをバックアップしてください。

管理者になります。
パーティションを次のように変更します。
1. fdisk ユーティリティーを起動します。

```
2. 表示された対話型インタフェースで、プロンプトに従って次のアクションの適切なオプションを選択します。
  - パーティションを削除します。
  - 削除するパーティションの番号を指定します。
  - パーティションを作成します。
  - 作成するパーティションタイプを選択します。
  - パーティションに使用するディスク容量の割合を指定します。
  - 新しいパーティションをアクティブまたは非アクティブのどちらにするかを指定します。
  - ディスクの構成を更新して終了することを選択します。
必要に応じて、デバイスをアンマウントします。

このパーティション上に PCFS ファイルシステムを作成します。
