A record store merger converts product data records into Endeca records and sends the Endeca records and the configuration data to dgidx for indexing. It performs the following high-level operations:
Processes the dimensions, properties, precedence rules, and dimension value records.
Writes the configuration and processed data records into MDEX-compatible output.
Sends the MDEX-compatible output to dgidx, the indexing process of the MDEX engine. dgidx produces indexed Endeca records that can be accessed in response to queries by dgraph, the runtime process of the MDEX engine.
