Different actions are required to make the configuration of different resources take effect in live and preview storefronts:
Changes to the configuration of some resources become effective in your live storefront when the
promote_contentscript has been run.Changes to the configuration of other resources become effective in your live storefront when the
baseline_update scripthas been run.Changes to the configuration of some resources take effect in the preview storefront immediately, without
baseline_updateorpromote_contenthaving been run.
Note
The
baseline_update and
promote_content scripts are installed by default in
your application's
/control directory.
