SMB Configuration
The SMB service provides access to filesystems using the SMB protocol. The supported SMB
versions are: SMB 1, SMB 2.0, SMB 2.1, and SMB 3.0. To share filesystems over SMB, configure
the filesystem as described in Filesystem Properties. The
following tables show the supported and unsupported features for SMB 3.0 and SMB 2.1.

Local accounts and user IDs are mapped to Windows user IDs. Note that the
guest account is a special, read-only account and cannot be configured
for read/write in the appliance.
